Karina Chapman
Yoga Teacher & Reiki Therapist
With over 20 years of experience, Karina weaves together the practices of Yoga, Chi Gong, Reiki, and Dance to help others connect with their inner strength and light. If you breathe, you can do Yoga and Karina is here to walk that path with you.
Her life journey has shaped her work as a teacher and guide. Through her healing presence, Karina supports those seeking peace, balance, and resilience. Her classes offer a space to reconnect with body, mind, and spirit, and uncover more conscious, empowered ways of living.
Karina considers it a privilege to walk alongside her students offering a holistic, embodied practice that fosters awareness and transformation. For her, Yoga is a powerful life tool that reveals new perspectives, inner peace, and strength through discipline and heart-led intention.
Karina’s love for movement began at the age of 4 in her first dance class. Over time, this passion deepened as she explored Yoga, Chi Gong, and Pilates living a life guided by intuition, nature, and heart.
Her path as a teacher was shaped through adversity. After losing her family home in the 2009 Black Saturday fires, Karina rebuilt her life anchoring herself even more deeply in the practice of Yoga. As a mother of two young children, she found strength through movement and community, training as a fitness instructor and working closely with mentors and peers to evolve her practice.
Teaching weekly in the Strathewen community for many years, Karina witnessed firsthand the role Yoga can play in restoring balance after trauma. Her lived experience gives her a grounded, compassionate approach especially for those navigating change, stress, or recovery.
In Karina’s words, “If you breathe, you can do Yoga.”
With a lifetime of movement and two decades of teaching, she is here to walk with you offering a safe, steady, heart-led practice that brings resilience, awareness, and inner harmony.
