Jesse David Soopaya

Integrative Physiotherapist & Founder

Jesse has dedicated his life to helping others break free from pain, injury, and health challenges. His mission is to guide others toward freedom, balance, and alignment, helping them discover their inner strength and full potential.

As a qualified physiotherapist with expertise in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation, Jesse empowers people to reconnect with their innate healing intelligence. His passion stems from a curiosity about the capacity of the human body for resilience and transformation.

Over the past decade, he has applied himself to the integration of Eastern and Western therapies, developing his own methodologies and treatment approaches. Earning a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Physiotherapy Practice at La Trobe University he graduated with top honors.

“I believe that through movement, awareness, and intentional practice, we can transcend physical limitations and tap into the innate healing capacity of the body.”

Jesse has trained in advanced techniques such as Active Release Techniques (ART), Functional Movement Systems (FMS), and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stability (DNS), learning from respected educators in the field. These tools have enabled him to work with individuals from all walks of life who are searching for greater balance and harmony within their bodies.

His holistic approach to health was profoundly shaped by one of the most challenging experiences of his life: supporting his mother through a stage 4 cancer diagnosis. Watching her navigate that journey taught him the vital importance of addressing health physically, mentally, and spiritually. It was during this time that he began incorporating practices of Meditation and Internal Martial Arts into his personal life and work. These practices opened his eyes to a deeper understanding of healing one that goes beyond treating symptoms and addresses the root causes of pain and dysfunction.

This journey of continual discovery led him to co-develop The Physical Freedom Method with Molly Rose. Together, they created a unique program designed to empower individuals to take control of their health through. The Physical Freedom Method isn’t just about physical transformation it’s about unlocking the innate healing potential and guiding people toward greater awareness, acceptance and alignment.

Outside of his work, he finds inspiration in exploring natural movement, playing music, traveling, and being in nature. These experiences remind him of the beauty and interconnectedness of life, fueling his commitment to helping others thrive. For Jesse, his work is more than a career, it’s his calling.

Every step of his journey has been about discovering what’s possible not just for himself, but for the people he’s been privileged to work with.

He is passionate about helping others reconnect with their bodies and align their lifestyles, habits, and beliefs to create lasting well-being. Whether you’re looking to enhance your physical performance, recover from injury, or find balance in your life, Jesse’s integrative approach focuses on meeting you where you are and helping you build toward where you want to be.

He believes that through movement, awareness, and intentional practice, anyone can transcend physical limitations and tap into the innate healing capacity of the body. His work is about more than just relieving pain; it’s about restoring freedom, empowering transformation, and guiding others toward their highest potential. If you’re ready to take that step, he is here to walk the path with you.

“it is essential to view physical manifestations of pain from a holistic lense in order to truly understand and treat the root cause.

Qualifications & Education

  • Active Release Techniques (ART): This laid the foundation for Jesse’s anatomical understanding of the human body and manual therapy.

  • Functional Movement System (FMS): Jesse trained in FMS to enhance his ability to assess biomechanics, coach movement, and design corrective exercise strategies. This knowledge has been instrumental in both his training and client’s programs.

  • Functional Neuro-Orthopedic Rehabilitation (FNOR): Jesse’s interest in the nervous system deepened when he completed Level 4 FNOR training. This allowed him to better address complex neuromuscular issues and integrate a holistic approach to rehabilitation.

  • Dynamic Neuromuscular Stability (DNS): Jesse completed his first DNS training through the Rehabilitation University of Prague in 2019, focusing on motor control and stability. DNS has since become one of the most effective tools in his practice, and he’s continued to build on these skills with advanced DNS training.

  • Bachelor of Health Science & Master of Physiotherapy Practice (La Trobe University): Jesse graduated at the top of his cohort, earning dux honors. His studies provided a strong foundation in evidence-based physiotherapy and rehabilitation techniques.

  • Eastern Practices: Seeking a deeper perspective, Jesse trained in Transcendental Awareness Meditation, Yoga, and Chi Gong. These practices transformed both his professional approach and personal life, enabling him to treat pain from physical, mental, and energetic perspectives.
