History of Tai Chi

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese internal martial art, dating back to the 13th century and is rooted in Taoist philosophy. Originally developed as a form of self-defence, it emphasizes slow, graceful movements and deep breathing to promote physical and mental well-being.

Over time, Tai Chi has evolved into a widely practised exercise, focusing on balance, flexibility, and mindfulness.

Recently, Tai Chi has gained recognition for its numerous health benefits. Research indicates that consistent practice can alleviate chronic pain, improve energy levels, and enhance overall physical function.

Its meditative nature fosters energetic harmony, helping individuals manage stress and anxiety.

By promoting relaxation and bodily awareness, Tai Chi is a valuable practice for addressing contemporary health challenges, contributing to physical vitality, mental clarity and energetic harmony.
