With over 20 years of experience, I combine Yoga with Chi Gong, Reiki, and dance to help others find their inner resilience and light. If you breathe, you can do Yoga, and I am here to walk that path with you. Let's embrace this journey together.
All my paths have led me to Yoga. As a healer and guide, I support those seeking peace and balance through this transformative practice. It is my honor to help you connect with your mind, body, and spirit, and to uncover new perspectives through movement, breath, and mindfulness.
It is a privilege for me to show you the way, through this uplifting practice of repeated discipline, toward a more conscious awareness of mind, body, and spirit. Illuminating new perspectives is a powerful outcome we like to achieve in yoga. Yoga offers techniques of relaxed movement, breathing, and rest.
I have been passionate about movement and expression since my first dance class at age 4. Over the years, I've deepened my connection to the natural world and my practice through adventure, dance, and Yoga. My journey as a teacher began after rebuilding my life from the 2009 Black Saturday fires, which only strengthened my commitment to this healing path.
When my two children were under 5 years old, I attended many Yoga, Pilates, and dance-based classes. I regained my strength. I became inspired and decided to work as a fitness instructor which was a road of determination and dedication.
I trained regularly, I was mentored by key teachers in Melbourne and collaborated with peers which evolved my practice.
The unfortunate event; 2009 Black Saturday fires, destroyed our family home. This altered my trajectory making Yoga practice an even higher priority.
I taught Yoga weekly in my Strathewen community. These years of collective experience of health challenges and the re-establishment against adversity gave me keen insights of how Yoga can help everyone.
I need to make a special mention and thanks to Nicky Knoff, of Knoff Yoga training in 2017, 2018 & 2019. Without her method and discipline, I would not be where I am with the practice today.
